Significant Differences from Previous Model Has a swivel screen Digic 5 Processor

?

Meh Differences or Worse Heavier, bulkier, and starts up 3x as slow as the T2i. Touch Screen and in Camera HDR

Do yourself a favor and get the T2i.  You can get a used one for real cheap these days thanks to the SPAM of Rebel T(X)i cameras Canon has been flooding the market with.  The image quality is basically the same and if you REALLY must have a swivel screen you can get the T3i or T4i.

Built in HDR and all the additional firmware additions are meaningless once you add the Magic Lantern firmware which is FREE and gives you all the video and still capabilities of much more expensive cameras.  Go here if you want to read more: Magic Lantern.

Don’t waste money on successful corporate marketing strategies and get what you really need.  If you want a step up get the 70D or the older, but still awesome, 7D OR make the jump to full frame and get the 6D.
