Town of Banff in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.

This photograph is perhaps one of the most memorable shots I have taken in my career. It took place a day after the restrictions from the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic were lifted. There is not a soul in sight in what would otherwise be a densely packed tourist destination.

It serves as a stark reminder of how fragile things can really be and how we can lose the things most precious to us in the blink of an eye. I truly hope we can return to a state of normalcy in the following years.
