The jokoro is a Buddhist cauldron. People lean towards it and fan the smoke towards them as it is mean to make you smarter/wiser.
This shot was a combination of great elements and luck. Having the 3 ladies in front of the Jokoro while a ray of light hit the smoke creates for a surreal experience. It accentuates the spirituality of the culture and tradition behind the practice.
